This piece is inspired by Simpson Pond, located in Roque Bluffs State Park in Washington County, Maine. 

This spot is one of my favorites, and I feel drawn into the space as I stand on the edge of the water. The opening in the reeds feels welcoming. This is my first attempt at capturing that feeling through art.
