I have a soft spot for ginkgo trees. These trees are a feature of my grandfather’s hometown, Punxsutawney, Pennsylvania. As a tribute, my grandmother planted a ginkgo tree in their yard. Now that she has passed, I am reminded of her each time I visit and see this tree.
